University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan (UMLA), once again participated in an international program called the “Virtual Exchange Program Spring Semester 2021” by Asia University Taiwan. This activity was attended by various countries such as Gadja Mada University (UGM), Diponegoro University (UNDIP), Airlangga University (UNAIR), Tidar University (UNTIDAR), Muhammadiyah University Yogyakarta, Muhammadiyah University Surabaya, and other universities.
UMLA delegated 37 students from various study program, including Bachelor of Physics, Diploma of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Biology, Bachelor of Computer Engineering, Diploma of Midwifery, Bachelor of Management, Diploma of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Accounting, and Bachelor of Sharia Economics. In addition, UMLA delegated 13 lecturers from several study programs including Diploma of Midwifery, Bachelor of Accounting, Bachelor of Hospital Administration, Bachelor of Physics, Diploma of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Computer Engineering.
The Online Summer Program 2021 lasted for 2 months (28 June 2021 to 24 August 2021) with a duration of 2 weeks for each topic. The participant could choose one or more topics offered by Asia University. UMLA strongly supports this program by providing scholarships to participants for a certificate fee of 10 USD per course. Participants who completed the online course will receive international standard knowledge, certificates, and transcripts that useful for recognizing the academic activities of UMLA students and lecturers internationally.
