Tuesday, 5th January 2021. International Affairs and Cooperation, University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan held a webinar called KUIK Talk, a socialization of the 2021 international student exchange program specifically for UMLA students. This was an attempt to discuss and share about international programs in 2021. There are 4 intended universities of 2021 student exchange program, namely Taipei Medical University Taiwan, Asia University Taiwan, Khon Kaen University Thailand, and Mahsa University Malaysia.

This webinar was delivered by Nur Hidayati S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep as the head of the UMLA International Affairs and Cooperation office which explained the procedures and conditions for participated in the 2021 student exchange. In addition, there were also 3 alumni of the University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan in 2018 who continuing their postgraduate study at Khon Kaen University Thailand, namely Aprelia Afidatul Hanafi, Wahyu Retno Gumerlar, Hamina Samantha Aisyah. One of the alumni shared her experience in participating student exchange at KKU Thailand 2018.

Participants were active and interactive during question and answer session. In addition, Alifin, S.KM., M.Kes as Vice Chancellor 2 also participated in this activity and gave encouragement to the UMLA students who took part in this webinar. He was very supportive of the international program for UMLA students. He advised “Do not be confused thinking about costs. You must register first. Don’t give up before fighting”. In this way, students do not need to worry when they want to participate in in this activity because the University has provided full of support.
