Stroke is a familiar disease in Indonesia, but pre-hospital management of stroke is not optimal yet. It is different from Thailand in which Stroke Fast Track emphasizes on managing it in the first 24 hours from the incident until receiving therapy in the hospital, and it has been shown to a high survival rate result. Attractive, communicative, and interactive presentation made students very enthusiastic and eager to ask many questions. One of the questions was how to perform first aid for stroke at home or public.
UMLA held guess lecture annually to maximize the quality of learning and students insight to see different side of nursing. It was also aimed to improve the quality of graduate students and to bring in professional nurse internationally.
