UMLA NEWS – Taipei, 18th – 29th November 2019.
Nur Hidayati S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep., was participated in Advanced Nursing Professional Training Program 2019 in Taipei Medical University, College of Nursing, Taiwan. ANPT is hold for Nurse Managers, Lecturers, members of Professional Organization, and hospital stakeholders in all Asian Country. Forty participants were selected, thirty are from Indonesia including Nur Hidayati from UMLA and 10 others are from Australia.
This program was organized by Taipei Medical University (TMU), College of Nursing, which participants got free Training fee and dormitory. It started with the opening ceremony from the Dean of College of Nursing, Professor Kuei-Ru Chou, and continued with introductions from all participants. This Training was hold to increase the amount of professional nurse in hospital and educational institution, to develop healthcare industry globally, cultural exchange, and work experience in health sector among Taiwan, Indonesia, and Australia, to improve insight of hospital administration and nursing learning especially in geriatric care, and to open up cooperation opportunities in continuing higher education program in masteral or doctoral of nursing.
ANPT was organized professionally and systematically where the training was not only take place in TMU but also in three affiliated Hospitals, i.e. Shuang Ho hospital, Wan Fang Hospital, dan TMU Hospital. Buddies, students from College of Nursing, were also provided for participants to guide individually to see scenic spots in Taiwan. In the end of training program, participants presented their new experiences and insight during the program and compared to the condition from Indonesia, Australia, and Taiwan. ANPT was closed ceremonially by Hsiu-Ting Tsai as Director of Bachelor Nursing Program, College of Nursing, TMU.
