UMLA NEWS. Muhammadiyah University of Lamongan (UMLA) delegated 35 people consisting of 25 students and 10 lecturers to take part in the 2020 Online Course Program organized by Partner University in Taiwan, namely Asia University which started on July 1 – August 31 2020.
UMLA students who attended the online course program consisting of 2 students majored in Hospital Administration (bachelor), 1 student majored in Elementary Education (bachelor), 4 students majored in Pharmacy program (bachelor), 1 student majored in Pharmacy program (diploma), 7 students majored in Nursing program (bachelor), 3 students majored in Accounting program (bachelor), 5 students majored in Management program (bachelor), and 2 students majored in Midwifery program (diploma). Additionally, there were 10 lecturers who participated in this course, they were 2 lecturers of Midwifery program,, 2 lecturers of Nursing program, 1 lecturer of English, 1 lecturer of Computer Engineering (bachelor), 2 lecturers of Accounting (bachelor), 1 lecturer of Management (bachelor), and 1 lecturer of Hospital Administration (bachelor). Themes taken by online course participants from UMLA included; web design, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Community Care and Practice in Taiwan, Language and Culture, and Artificial Intelligence.
Rector of UMLA, Drs. H. Budi Utomo, M. Kes., really appreciated and supported this activity by providing credit subsidies for internet access to all participants, both students and lecturers who took this online course. He hoped that one day UMLA could hold its own online course attended by students from various countries.
