UMLA.NEWS – Two students from the University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan (UMLA) passed the selection for the 2021 International Credit Transfer (ICT) fund assistance program by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture as announced Tuesday (29/6) by the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. The student will attend one-semester online learning with Asia University Taiwan. Two UMLA students, Wahyu Fitroh Alam and Dilla Vista Amelia, from Management study program are taking 3 courses, Special topics on leisure and recreation, Economy Investment and Taiwan Culture Introduction, and Research Methods with a total of 8 credits. During lectures, students will obtain various resource facilities from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia while studying at Asia University, a living cost of 3.5 million per semester, and book money.
The International Credit Transfer (ICT) program provides great opportunities. Students will attend lectures with materials and lecturers from Taiwan, study using international languages and a different learning system from home universities. Dilla Vista, one of the students who passed said she was very grateful and very happy to be able to pass the program. It is very reasonable for the happiness of students who pass because to qualify for the international standard program such as ICT, students must have a minimum TOEFL score of 450, GPA > 3.25 and also other requirements.
